- A loaf of bread was $1.88 in 2012. In 2022, that cost rose to $2.54.
- A median home price was $154,000 in 2012. In 2022, that price increased to $368,200.
The average Nebraska residential cost per kilowatt hour of electricity was about 10 cents in 2012. In 2020, that cost rose to just 11 cents (EIA two-year lagging). Public power remains a good value for Nebraska.
