2023 Energy Efficiency Rebates

Residential

  • Air source or geothermal heat pump – Rebate or low interest loan
  • Attic insulation for existing structures – 30¢/sq. ft. Maximum rebate of $600.
  • Cooling system tune up – $30 incentive
  • Heat pump water heater – $400-650 for air or water source
  • Smart thermostats – $25-100, depending on electric or fossil fuel heat and installation by homeowner or a professional

Beneficial electrification

  • Lawn and garden – 20% incentive of new, battery-powered or corded electric lawn mowers (push, riding or robotic), chainsaws, tillers and snow blowers.
  • Induction cooktop – 20% incentive for 30″ minimum width cooktop or range

Electric vehicles

  • EV purchase – No longer available. Federal incentives may still be available. Contact your local dealership for details.
  • EV charging station – $500 for ChargePoint brand charger
  • Pre-wiring for an EV Charging Station – $400 for new construction, 100% of the cost for existing structures with a maximum of $600
