Dawson PPD partnered with the Nebraska Rural Electric Association to provide unique learning experiences for Nebraska teens.
The Youth Energy Leadership Camp provides opportunities for youth to learn more about the electrical industry and the importance of safety, leadership and serving their communities.
Dawson PPD taught 36 campers the importance of electrical safety and what to do should they be in a vehicle accident. Then, lineworkers guided campers through the safe operation of a bucket truck while witnessing the sprawling campgrounds from a unique perspective.
